STREET STYLE DURING MILAN FW / FEB2017

There isn't much to do in Milan and that's the reason not many people enjoy it but here why I like it: There is so much great architecture everywhere, its beautiful, so the city becomes a great backdrop to shoot street style on. All my Milan videos have a certain for feel to them for this reason.
The 2nd reason is because things slow down a bit once you get to Milan (if you're working all of fashion month) and it's a nice change of pace after London and New York. A break full of stuffing my face with pasta is much needed.

STREET STYLE DURING NYFW / FEB2017

There are a lot of new people following my work so I'll start with a short intro.

I breathe and create in New York City, spending my days telling stories with visuals. I create bite-sized pieces of photo and video content to help brands engage with their audiences on social media. Lately I've been working a lot in the fashion space and over the last year have shot fashion weeks in NY, London, Milan, Paris, Tokyo and Berlin...it's been insane. I'll go more into detail on this whole journey in another post but that's all you need to know to be caught up.

This season started with New York Fashion Week and one of my projects was to create street style videos for @NYFW. I was hype, I love shooting these videos. even though we kicked the week off with a blizzard and had a few rainy days I still really loved the way these came together.

I'll continue to roll out content here and if you have any comments or questions feel free to contact me directly atifateeq@gmail.com.

If you're interested in seeing the videos that I'm currently working on please check out my Instagram, thats where I post in real time.

PUBLIC SCHOOL Backstage and Runway Video

Public School has got to be one of my favorite brands that show at NYFW. When I took this project on I was particularly excited to get in there and create this video. However, not all shows are the same and I did not have full access backstage or on the runway. Public School kept it pretty tight only allowing their in house photographers to shoot first looks backstage. It was kind of a security shit show but I managed to get a few shots backstage and then run to the runway and squeeze in between rows somewhere along the runway. Not the best spot in the house but I did what I could.

Shot for NYFW, re-edited to Drake because I was bored and felt like it.

CAROLINA HERRERA BRIDAL SHOOT BTS VIDEO

I love working directly with brands, it allows me to foster a relationship that's build on trusting each others vision and creating a beautiful and engaging product that we are both happy with. I started working with Carolina Herrera a few months back when they asked me to shoot their resort presentation and visually we just clicked. I had a great time shooting it and the content I created was exactly what they were looking for.

Since then we have been working closely on a few projects the most recent of which was this BTS video of their bridal campaign. I wanted to go with a softer more romantic feel for this and though its really different with most of my other videos I was really happy with the way it came out. And the music Amaad Bhatti created for this was the perfect marriage (pun intended).

Moving forward you will see a bunch more work that I will be creating for them. The next project will be to shoot their show at fashion week, which i'm super excited about.

I don't really post much personal content here but I wanted to share with you that Humai and I got married last month on the 17th. It really was a beautiful evening and I want to thank Eli Schmidt for capturing it so perfectly.

New York Fashion Week

This fashion week I was working strictly on a few video projects but found myself in front of some incredible moments and couldn't help but shoot some photos. Videos from fashion week coming soon.

#TargetStyle / NY Fashion Show / Episode 2

The 2nd video in a series of 6 videos I shot for Target during their NY fashion week just dropped today. In this episode we interview Petra Strand the founder of Pixi Beauty products. She oversaw the shows make-up programs and sheds some lights on the different style approaches they took. Enjoy.
