I've been to Miami several times but never during Art Basel and I was kind of under the impression that it was just one big douchey party, I was totally off. The art fairs, in fact, draw a pretty international crowd of smart-curious-creative people. Yes there is a huge event and party element to but there is art everywhere you turn your head.
